The US Masters Chess League (USMCL) is the ultimate professional chess sports league, leading the way in the rapidly evolving landscape of competitive chess.
Professional chess is shifting toward team-centered, spectator-focused, and fast-paced rapid formats. As an emerging league, our blueprint mirrors traditional major league sports and the esports industry.
Our in-person over-the-board (OTB) match up events bring together elite competition, industry speakers, entertainment, and local business vendors.
The USMCL consists of National and World leagues. These teams compete within their respective leagues. While our World League teams compete on line, this season, our National teams will travel to NYC and the DMV before the final match in Chicago. The emerging champions from each league will advance to compete for the USMCL International Championship.
While we compete in local community markets, our partnership with IdChess, FIDE sanctioned digital platform allows us to digitize and broadcast across multiple media channels. This gives the USMCL the global reach to build the loyal fan base necessary for the success of any sport.
